SC4x2™ et Kits K4X2™
Are you operating a LEVEL access control
system ?
Then, what is the future of your 542™,
552™, 562™ or IOD2™ electronic controllers
?
NCS® provide new compatible solutions
to support these products, included in the new SC400™
line of products. Would one of the older controller
fail, it may be exchanged for a new model. This new
model may be installed in the same cabinet, requiring
no cabling change. Should your system be extended, a
new controller is proposed.
All these
models are compatible with your LEVEL system.
Moreover, these solutions open a step
per step migration path towards our new SCNET4™
system. The day you want to upgrade your system, you
may install our new software, keeping in place your
existing installation.
T42 line of products
The T42 product line guarantees the
EDI3™, LEVEL3™ and LEVEL5™ continued
support and their future upgrading. These products are
part of the new SC400™ products, designed within
the SCNEt4™ line.
- K4X2 : these conversion kits replace
542™, 552™, 562™ and IOD2™ controllers,
without modifying the existing installation.
- SC4X2 :these new controllers are
able to extend an existing
installation without modifying the host software.
- Both offer the opportunity to
convert a LEVEL system into a SCNEt4™ system
by simply loading new software into the SC4X2 or K4X2.
The K4x2 conversion kit is a "
board for board " exchange product :
- It fits into the older controller
cabinet, replacing the 542™, 552™, 562™
or IOD2™ Printed Circuit Board (PCB) ;
- It performs the same functions
as the older controller,
- All cabled signals are re-connected
to the new kit, without any modification to be made
at the connected devices, even if the connector pins
are not alike ;
- No host software is required.
The SC4X2
housing and are those of the SC400™ products of
the SCNET4™ line. SC4X2
must be installed in a metallic cabinet, with SC406
power supply. No host software is required.
Both products are delivered with :
- A utility software program for
installation and cabling testing : I-Term
- An automatic configuration software
program : CFG4X2. This utility is installed on the
EDI3™ or LEVEL3™ or LEVEL5™ host PC.
It sets automatically the installation parameters
into the SC4X2 or K4X2 controllers, through the NCDI
loop.
Note : Installing K4X2 exchange kits
or SC4X2 extension devices does not modify the capacity
of the EDI3™ or LEVEL3™ or LEVEL5™ software
licence in use.
