SCALINE® readers

SScaline® is a broad badge identification product line. It includes badge readers and numeric keypads. Scaline® differs from other lines because of its novel approach to universality, ergonomics, design and high security level. The production standards guarantee durability and safety : fully protected electronics, fire approved material, stainless steel, mounting accessories.

• WIEGAND® effect

  The Wiegand ® card contains a series of ferromagnetic alloy wires. The reader reads the pulses sent by the Wiegand® rods. This pulse frame corresponds to the badge code.
  The Wiegand® effect is reliable, resilient to RF interference's and weatherproof.

• ISO2 Magnetic Stripe

  This uses same electromagnetic principle as that used in audio recording.
  The Scaline® reader reads the data from the track 2. It is compatible with all formats complying with the ISO 3554 standard - e.g. bankcards.
  

• Bar Code

Optical reading of a pattern of black and white bars is performed by an electronic detector of the reflected light - visible (non-masked code) or infrared (masked code) -.
The Scaline® reader automatically identifies most standards: code 39, interleaved 2 by 5, UPC, A and E, EAN/JAN 8 and 13, codabar, code 128, code 11 and MSI.

• Numeric Keypad

The Scaline® keypad enables using a personal identity code - PIN code from 1 to 6 digits - as an id code or as an code confirmation with a badge reading.
The reader is built with high quality keycaps.
